The Fairsea Cabo San Lucas Puerto Vallarta Mazatlan
This is our first cruise down the coast of Mexico, which took us to Cabo San Lucas, Puerto Vallarta and
Mazatlan. In the latter
two
stops we actually made it to the port of call, and "Cabo" was nothing
but
a pass by. It was a seven day cruise and even though the ship was
rather
small compared to those now quite common, it was an impressive
experience.
But places like Puerto Vallarta
have changed so dramatically in the last decades that it is difficult
to
recognize much of it. Instead of being taken by tender to the
small
pier/dock on the southern side of town, the cruise ships of today land
at
a fairly well developed dock
in the northern section which is filled with hotels, shopping centers -
a
literal city!
