One hears so much about places like Nicaragua, both prositive and negative.  Revolutions are almost the norm, or were, throughout Centeral America.  But setting aside the political situations in these small nations, what's left if beautiful landscapes and wonderful places to visit.  Tourist are pretty safe - the bread & butter for the population..      First there was San Juan Del Sur, where the ship was docked and we were taken by small boats - called tendes - to the village nestled in the tropic hillside.       From here we took a bus inland to visit the city of Granada.
