Well, where to begin? Well in the "lobby"--the "Hotel desk"--of course (as it was sometimes called by those of us too "dumb" to know the right name).  This was the information center, and, like in any flashy hotel lobby, where you got room keys, and signed up for tours. Paying bills was another matter. They had you on a no-cash basis--meaning your credit card number was listed and would be charged for anything you might owe at the end of the voyage. This is, also, a good starting point for our tour of The Galaxy.
